Pioneer Camp - Flat Rock, Ballina 27-29 April 2007
The Scouts held their first camp for Term 2 at Flat Rock, Ballina. 5 boys and
4 girls attended the camp. Each patrol set up their own patrol tents. The boys
also set up the flag pole and the girls constructed the dining fly.
It was a great camp, very relaxed and fun, A little bit of rain but it didn't
put out our camp fire which was stoked for most of the camp and we made good use
of the hot coals for our dinner on Saturday night which was cooked in the camp
ovens. We had chicken and roast lamb along with potato, sweet potato, pumpkin
(home grown by Falcon) carrots, garlic. They all
turned out pretty perfect and tasted sensational.
