JOTA / JOTI 

JOTA / JOTI  (Jamboree of the Air / Jamboree of the Internet) was held at Murwillumbah on the weekend of the 22 - 23 October 2007.  We also celebrated 50 years of JOTA in Australia.  The youth members and leaders who attended the weekend also received a badge. We were also lucky enough to have a number of Girl Guide groups attend the weekend.

Sarah and Breeanna from the 1st Ballina Joey Mob attended on the Saturday and enjoyed a number of the activities including archery, plastic water bottle rockets, two way radios and the huge water slide.

The water slide is one of the main attractions at Jota and has been for a number of years.  The two girls were a bit nervous for the first time on the slide but once they went down once they thought it was great fun and made the trek back up the hill for many more wild slides down the hill, with a couple of tumbles at the end onto the grass.
