Surf Life Saving Safety Night -  15 October 2007

2007 is the year of the Surf Life Saver and to help celebrate the Joeys participated in Boardies Day to help raise money for Ballina / Lismore Surf Life Saving Club.

Rod Balkin who is a member of the Surf Club and is also one of our Scout Leaders  - "Sea Hog" came along and gave the Joeys a little talk about water safety and brought
along with him some of the equipment that the Surf Life Savers use whilst patrolling our beaches.

It was a great night and I am sure the Joeys learnt a lot and will be ready to hit the beach this summer.
